For my front cover I decided that I would stick to conventions and put my mast head at the top of the page. It wasn’t central but it’s set over to the left hand side so that you can see the majority of it if it was on a shelf in a supermarket. The masthead is all in capitals and the font is very simple so it’s easy to read and in white so it stands out strongly against the black back ground. The headline is in a light gold which is also situated on the left hand side which is also keeping to conventions. Also the picture I used shows an artist playing guitar and as the picture is a medium shot he fills most of the page again, catching the readers eye.
