The cover of this issue of Acoustic has a very different look to it than the other one I have analysed as this one feels more rustic and worn as the colours that have been used are mellower. The colours used are white, blue, light gold and red. The background on which the artist has been set looks like wood.
The main headline is situated on the left in the middle of the page which is effective as it is done for the rule of 3rds.

The cover lines are placed around the edges of the page, with 4 the left and 2 on the right. They’re packed into every available space, but they don’t go over the main cover image which makes the cover look neat and tidy. The cover is comprised of 2 fonts. The one used for the masthead is used for the main headline and smaller ones too, but made different sizes and sometimes bold and sometimes not. The font its self is very basic which makes it very easy to read and catch the reader’s eye. Also they have had him look straight into the camera for a direct mode of address again, catching the reader’s attention.
